Jamie + Dane | A Laid Back Stanley Idaho Wedding

I think the most important thing to think about when planning your wedding is this: what do YOU want? Jamie + Dane knew exactly what they wanted and they created a super-chill super-awesome super-fun wedding day!

Jamie + Dane chose the Stanley area for their wedding because they actually lived there for about 5 years and they really became locals. So naturally, they had to get married there and show their friends and family this amazing little mountain town that they call their second home.

We started at Danner’s Log Cabins, where everyone was getting ready. Then we drove up to Pioneer Park for their portraits with the amazing Sawtooth Mountains behind them. Their wedding ceremony was at the Stanley Meditation Chapel, which is a place that Jamie + Dane have spent some time with their friends in the past.

Then we made our way back to Danner Cabins for a party of a reception, catered by The Redd, a local Stanley restaurant. Jamie changed into her rad Free People reception dress, complete with her signature flannel and Ray-bans. The best combo!

You can tell Jamie + Dane have good friends, because after the speeches, silly string came from all directions – but all aimed at Jamie + Dane! And they actually took it really well! Always a good sign. 🙂

The last stop of the night was the Kasino Club, where Jamie + Dane are truly regulars. We got lucky with some live music from Zoe Muth and the Lost High Rollers. And then, of course, if you see the milky way, you take pictures of the milky way. That’s just how it is.

Putting this blog post together made me really miss this day. Jamie + Dane are a one-of-a-kind couple and I really felt at home at their wedding.

These are so great! I love the flannel over the dress. Adorable.
