I’ve known Lindsay for a couple years now. I took her family photos 2 years ago and we’ve stayed in contact ever since. So, when she called me up to talk about her wedding, I was ecstatic!
Lindsay is an expressive woman with a golden spirit that just touches everyone around her. So, I knew her fiancé had to be pretty special. Well, let me just tell you – he proposed to her in Italy on Valentine’s Day. I don’t think anything beats that! Knowing Lindsay, she would have loved it even if he got down on one knee in an alley way. She sees the beauty in everything, which I’m sure is why Al knows she deserves to be treated like a queen.
They decided to have their wedding at their cabin in Idaho City, with only their children and a few, select friends present. I have to say, I’m loving all the intimate weddings and elopements lately. They’re always so special and full of love. You just can’t beat it.
I was surprised to play a role in Lindsay’s wedding date. She had a couple dates in mind, and when she found out I was booked on one day, she chose the other! That’s one great thing about getting eloped – you can change things up if you need to! Then I found out she was also hiring some of the very best wedding vendors in Boise and I was even more excited.

And FlowersAtWill did a fabulous job on the flowers, as usual. I got to watch Lindsay go through her wedding photos for the first time and every time she gasped, she was just in awe of how beautiful her flowers were, which was hilarious and understandable. You’ll see that there’s even a photo where she’s looking lovingly at her… flowers. Not her husband. Haha!
Their catering was done by a family friend who made everything from scratch. It was all AMAZING. She made some crackers that I just have to have the recipe for. She even made the cute little cake. It was all to die for!
At the end of the ceremony, Lindsay + Al took a trip down the zipline at their cabin in their wedding clothes – a new one for me! Eventually, everyone at the wedding flew down that thing.
I am so excited to finally share this wedding with you all. It was such a special day and I was incredibly honored to be a part of it. Lindsay + Al and their new, slightly bigger family, are all so welcoming. Huge thank you to all of you for letting me be a part of the day!
